Committees

There are currently four committees if you are interested in getting involved please send an email to info@nbmbaa.ca including in the subject line “Committee”.

1.  Social Committee:

The Primary focus of the Social committee is to develop and plan evens that will enhance the social values of the members in our chapter. This committee will be responsible for the planning and implementations of all social events sponsored by or in conjunction with our chapter or National affiliate on a local level. This committee is chaired by the VP Operations.

2.  Membership Committee:

The purpose of the membership committee is to obtain, maintain, and increase membership to attain the chapter’s goals. The committee members will assist in membership drives including but not limited to recruitment, activities, and communication. This committee is chaired by the VP Membership.

3.  Student Relations:

The Student Relations committee shall act as a liaison between the local academic community and the chapter. The committee will facilitate conversations between the local colleges and universities to the NBMBAA and disseminate information regarding the approval process for new collegiate associations. The committee will also develop student campaigns and coordinate student involvement in chapter activities. This committee is chaired by the VP Operations.

4.  Marketing & Communications:

The Public Relations committee will be responsible for handling any publicity or public relations events that involve the local chapter. They will also be responsible for working with any/all of the other committees in the preparation and release of any media or publicity needed in the area of marketing or promotions.  This committee is chaired by the VP National Marketing.
