Colin Lynch is an Associate at McKinsey & Company based in their Chicago
transport, travel and logistics practice. Previously, he was an analyst in
Morgan Stanley's Toronto investment banking office. He has also held
internships at Procter & Gamble and Monitor Group.
Colin received an MBA (distinction) from Harvard University in 2011, a B.Com
(distinction) in Finance and Economics and a B.A. (distinction) from Queen's
University in 2007. He was awarded an ARCT in Piano Teaching from the Royal
Conservatory of Music in 2004.
Colin is a member of the Board of Trustees of Queen's University and its
University Council. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of
Orchestra Toronto, the INROADS Alumni Association of Toronto, Bright Futures
of Burkina Faso and Youth Empowering Parents. He has also served as an
advisor to Canadian politicians and business executives throughout the world.
At Harvard, Colin was Co-President of HBS Board Fellows, helping to double
the number of HBS students placed on the boards of New England
charities. While at Queen's, he was Chair of its Peer Judicial Boards, Chair and President of
the Queen's Student Opera Company, Editor-in-Chief of COMMotion and Managing
Editor of the Queen's International Observer where he edited and published
contributions from politicians and diplomats.
In 2004, Colin co-founded the Black Business and Professional Association's
Leaders of Tomorrow Conference and in 2007 was a Canadian delegate at the
St. Gallen International Symposium in Switzerland. In 2003, he performed
with the Toronto District Youth Orchestra in Austria and the Czech Republic
and in 2002 with the National Youth Orchestra of Taiwan.
